I have always thought this valve cover is stunning, so I made a few replicas to hang or display on a 'large desk'. It is finished in catalyzed paint, so can be transformed to wrinkle black, or TR red. 1:1 scale, 3 layer fibreglass. Hope you enjoy the photos! I'll vouch for that. I was lucky enough to purchase the last Dino cam cover repro. It absolutely is quite stunning....... too nice to hang in my garage so I am finding a place on a wall in my study. If you are considering the above 250 GT......... etc. valve cover repro, buy it. You won't be sorry. And no, I don't work for Alberto. I am just really happy with my Dino valve cover.
Thank you Richard, I am happy when you find is as nice that, from the garage it is going to the office. Greatest compliment! Regards, Alberto
Have 2 more 250 GT valve covers available. $300 including shipping lower 48. alberto.guirola at gmail.com Regards, Alberto
Well, 2 were sold. Thank you Matt! I thought they were only two as only two boxes, so surprise, there are two more available. $300 ea. including shipping. Regards, Alberto
I'll post the following on all three listings that I know about. These valve cover replicas are AWESOME. Alberto has done a fantastic job of recreating these in fiberglass. All hardware was included, meaning the black pull balls along with all the acorn nuts. The finish is a great silver that looks like an aluminum engine block. They were wonderfully packed with care, and Alberto called me with feeding and care instructions, including not to strip the threads in the fiberglass. Just outstanding. Thank you so much! Matt
Just got mine...well done Alberto!... plan to paint them although they look pretty good as is. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Peter! I am glad you like them, and as you can tell, really a lot of attention to detail. Clearly, not perfect if they would be with the real fasteners, but it would cost twice as much. Doable too though. I really like them like this, black, is too dark and red too red. The natural cast alloy look is great. One day you can paint others, and by the way, the two covers together are really cool. It would be fun to cast a whole V-12, but afraid I don't have one handy Regards, Alberto
Matt, thank you very much! They could be incredibly fantastic business cards Well, I am extremely happy when things turn out to be real pleasers! I really appreciate your comments...and the great references! Kind regards, Alberto
I actually just had a customer comment that he would be more interested in a complete engine...he would make room for that! Food for thought.
First few hours of cure time but the final finish should be pretty close to reality. It also helps hide some of the superficial flaws. And they are very minor!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would be fantastic and achievable. I certainly would be the 2nd client Only issue, would be to send me a bare block, heads, carbs, timing covers, oil pan and whatever else might be needed to fabricate a whole engine. Oil filters, real ones... I can certainly replicate a Dino engine, I have that available. Regards, Alberto
Peter, that looks great! It is really unfortunate that here, there is no wrinkle paint. The flaws are original, yet you are right about the look in black. I have been surfing, trying to find a home-made brew to achieve the effect. Have not found a thing. Regards, Alberto

Hi I appreciate very much the covers! However you state they was ok for too may (for me!) models or you put yust only few pics! I ask you (for my models) if you really know the number of nuts on the valve cover of each model. I know there are six for 250GT,SWB; but I am almost sure they were five on GTO's and TR'58..for the others I don't know!!!! May be 330 LMB and TR'62 there were six also? The very first 375 has Lampredi engine and so seven and grater valve cover!!!!! May you make clear the sky for me? Unfortunately my model are 1/18 and 1/12 although will be fine to make different lengths and nuts number by the six nuts base! Thank you in advance, all the best, Alessandro
Ciao Alessandro, Grazie per i complimenti! I only know too well that there are so many variations, but it would have been impossible, to make them all, as the cost to buy all versions would have made it impossible! I think though, that at least with this one, we can close our eyes a little bit, have different colors, and imagine all the different models. I do not even know which model this one was from! Where are you in Italy? Please pm me with details, as I might be in Milano. Regards, Alberto
