    You can drive a 288 GTO anywhere you can drive a 308 and it costs the same to maintain.

    I guess it depends. If an original 288 is sent to be mechanically serviced & refreshed to meet Classiche, does it matter if those same men are entrusted to bring back an example "from the dead"? Sure, the new example is just that, brand new, but the artists behind it would still be the same ones who handle & restore the original examples.

    Surely there are still factory workers within' Ferrari who had their hands on the 288 back then, and could still rebuild a new one today. :confused:
