I know it and it is a lovely car. They are looking for more than 500.000 Euros I think it is top money for the condition of the car...With so few cars around though, it might get it... The car was advertised for sale for approx. 430.000 EUR six months ago and I believe it was sold, but subsequently it was put back on the market. The new vendor is a serious guy I would buy it at 430...Can't stretch to 500 though...!
The Auto Show in Houston in 1986 at the astro-arena. I thought it was at the Ferrari official pen. No info but it was where I asked my dad to mortgage the house to buy it. He thought I was crazy. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login

Was there at the Zender dealership about a month ago. Will post some pictures in the evening. Gr. Martin
This car is in the Netherlands now!!!!! In the early days it had German plates D-YJ 288, and was published in many car magazines. I pictured this car at Auto Becker in Düsseldorf, June 1, 1985. we often went from Holland there just to take pictures of exclusive cars! To our surprise, the GTO was driven out of the showroom for a testdrive, I can still remember the exitement!! Wooahh, it's going out on the street!!! So it first took some BP petrol at the station in front of Auto Becker, where I asked the driver to put on the lights for the picture, haha!! And then it went of. We waited for half an hour at the traffic lights were we thought the car was coming back, for some more pictures. The pictures are made with my first cheap Pentax camera, without auto focus and all, but hey, at least it's in colour ;-) Ciao! I was there a week or two later on a family trip across the Western Europe! We have slides of the GTO in the showroom somewhere! You let loose a hidden memory with your pictures! Thank You!!!! June 1985 was a banner month for terrorists across Europe, but it was a great time to be a 13 year old car enthusiast!
