It could simply be a trick pulled by perspective. If the car is even slightly tilted in relation to the camera (front part being further from the lens than the back part) then you could have that impression. hard to take a picture exactly perpendicular to the car...
March 1984 the 288 GTO was publicly shown at the Geneva Motor Show. Now we are 35 years later. A little bird tells me that we might see some nice anniversary party. Stay tuned. Marcel Massini
