    Looked on eBay and those for sale either had no lens and/or no bag, were melted in spots, or were the newer kind which doesn't plug in to the under- dash plug.

    I think you just bought a nice lamp for a very good price. I was tempted even with the wrong plug. My 77 has the small one.
