    Hi,

    I’m wondering how the plastic surround on the headlamp pods is supposed to attach? My car has self tapping screws holding them in place (see pictures); but I’ve recently bought a second hand replacement surround from Eurospares which has not got any holes in it ...

    However, the parts diagram from Eurospares does seem to list self tapping screws (see picture) but in a different position to my ones.

    I bought a NOS replacement that had no screw holes so maybe yours have never been mounted? Made a paper template to transfer holes from old one. Those screws look larger than what are on my car but in same locations.

    If it helps anyone I've just been working out for myself how the motors are wired up and have drawn this single side circuit diagram. It makes me wonder what the diodes are actually for ... maybe in some way interaction between the two motors if the diodes are not there?

    Btw I had to cut off part of the molded tubes that rest against the steel headlight bucket as they were too long compared to the originals. It may be these trim pieces are also used on another make/model of car that mounted the trim by drilling and tapping these tubes and did not use the side screws?

    I don’t think I have those pieces (from memory, I’m not near the part just now). Maybe left over from moulding process?
