Just look at the details of how the car is made..... There are no panel gaps between wings, pillars etc which give the car a look like it is made from one piece of sheetmetal.
This all was gone when the Mondial arrived, at that moment cars were made from individual panels which helps in damage repair but does not show the craftsmanship of the earlier models.
Especially the air inlets just behind the rear windows are pure art in my eyes.

Lovely cars. Always one of my favorties. On the short list of next cars for sure.

That black car is absolutely stunning. I have never seen one live in Black (just red and yellow), but those pictures are great.

Due to lack of room at his workshop, a specialist I use parked a car in my garage and swapped it for my GT4. His shop being on my way to work I followed him in.

I suspect like many, its rare to view your own car on the move from the spectators perspective. I have liked GT4's for a long time, but havent owned this for that long. As I followed I was struck by how exotic the GT4 looks on the road. Not exotic in the purple Murcielago sense, but exotic in the sense of 'you dont see something like that very often'.

While GT4's are 'wedge' era cars (Urraco/Esprits in the same boat) I was also reminded there isnt much Origami in there - there are softened edges and complicated curves everywhere. It really is visually and numerically a rare thing.

What was also interesting was that the car in my garage now is a 911sc. Another car I have liked forever and in fact I set out to buy a 911 before buying the GT4 (there was an 'if not now then when' moment).

What struck me about the 911 is how much smaller it is than the GT4 in my small garage. There was just so much more room around the car, and the way the cars edges are so rounded and fall away just meant it took up much less space. I suspect a 246 and a slim bodied 911 is a better comparison visually.

    anyway, love the GT4.

and ofcourse time for a Kodak moment..
