    Hi Guys,

Is there some sort of idle stabilizer on a Ferrari 308 QV euro when the air conditioner comes on. Is this the WUR? If so what typically goes wrong?
I am having idle issues whilst trying to keep the air conditioner on at traffic lights. It drops to a point of stalling. Without air conditioner everything works fine.

The air conditioner is blowing cool air. Any help would be great.

    Cheers,

    Anthony

No idle stabilizer. If it is a proper state of tune A/C will drop idle about 100 rpm and it will be a complete non issue. If the tune is bad that is another story.

Thanks. Looks like a tune may be in order. Just got it working again.

I had an issue with this because I had a misfire at idle. Whenever I turned on the AC during a stop, the engine would die. Since have fixed the misfire and the engine no longer dies when I kick on the AC.

hi guys if any interest I updated the tune and we resolved the problem. interestingly the distributor rotor (button) broke in the process so wondering if that was the root cause in the end of the day. Hopefully helps someone in the future.

Seems like the bigger problem is that you actually have a working AC. :)
