That does seem odd, but I believe the round pins & sockets indicate that is a MBenz style protection relay (so someone rewired/replaced/added the socket -- please confirm version 328: US, late CH?, euro modified to US/late CH?). I can see the 30 and 31 terminal markings on the case, but what are the other terminals with the wires connected labeled? And could you also confirm the wire insulation colors for each wire please? Also, is that a manufacturer PN stamped into the case (can you post it please)?
