Hi All, Some of you may have seen my post a month ago in search of my Grandfathers Ferrari 365 GTC chassis number 12437. There was some great info given and enabled me to go further. Ive made progress to fin that it was last sold in 2013 with the numberplate ARP 737J pictured below. From my research its still in the UK with around 65k miles on it and restored in various parts of the country. However I’m now at a loose end with no further knowledge. So in a final plea, would anyone have any other info to help keep this journey alive? Thanks Tom Image Unavailable, Please Login
have a 1963 Jag E-type. I’ve had it for 4 years and I have NOT gotten IT wet. My experience with English cars of a certain age is that they melt in the rain….sort of like the wicked witch of the west, just more slowly.
OK…too long since anyone posted to this thread! Photos taken by @evanthecarspotter. He’s 15yo and already a rather good photographer and certified car geek/car lover. Yes, absolutely. Chassis number is 9571. A special tailor made GTC, made for Jaime Ortiz-Patino, the Bolivian tin king resident in Vandoeuvres-Geneva, Switzerland at the time. Lots of special stuff on this GTC. In the penultimate photo, on the right, I think there is another 330 GTC with somewhat "special" characteristics: chassis number 8753 of which Mr. Massini has posted very interesting photos at the following links: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149292265/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/146373487/

Wandering around the internet I found this sales announcement relating to the warranty booklet of the Ferrari 365 GTC chassis number 12067. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/original-ferrari-365-gtc-warranty-454385511 According to this document, the car was delivered by SAVAF Geneve (Ferrari dealer) on 5 February 1969 to Mr. S. Metaxa resident in Zurich. Then on the back cover there are some notes written in pen, perhaps including the original license plate number VD-1109-Z and the name and address of a mechanical workshop in Zurich. Metaxa is the name of a famous company that produces Cointreau and other liqueurs. I couldn't find any other information or photos about this car online. I attach some photos of this warranty booklet, even if they are small in size. Does anyone have a photo of this car? On the tr4palmbeach Instagram profile, several photos were published of a 365 GTC that participated in the Concorso Ferrari Palm Beach chapter, a private event organized by the Ferrari Club of America, which took place at the Admiral Cove Jupiter Club (Florida) on February 17th. The event was in support of the STOP! Children's cancer of Palm Beach County charity. The 365 GTC, metallic gray with red interior, has the Florida license plate PK718J. I attach some photos. All wrong. Metaxa was just a front man/man of straw. Zero connection to Cointreau liqueurs. The address is the one of the official dealer Goeggel's Klus Garage in Zurich (Mr Roger Zehr). The car changed hands several times also into the Swiss canton Vaud, hence the Vaud license plate VD 1109-Z, with the "Z"-ending it was a "Zoll"-Nummer, a customs plate (meaning the car was not customs/duty paid in Switzerland at the time. Abramo Cecchin is the name of the mechanic in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva) who maintained this GTC for a while. This GTC then went later into the canton Fribourg and finally ended up in Argentina, with several owners, the last known one being M.J.R.B. in Buenos Aires (2019). Sadly the optional pop-up fog lights have been eliminated and the openings closed now. I first saw 12067 on 9 November 1980 at Le Castellet, France. Pic below. How much information and what a story! And what golden wheels! Thanks a lot, also for the photo, Mr. Massini
Someone needs to do a film on these beautiful cars to raise their profile. Who's willing to become the 'Magnus Walker' of the vintage Ferrari world? The 330 GTC has terrible coverage on youtube etc, these cars need to be recognized as one of the best drivers ferraris ever made! And no I'm not looking to sell one!
