Jay Koka when he painted it called it a "330LMB" which I think is a good way to describe it, to avoid it getting lumped in the "all of the 250GTOs"...LOL!

OK. So this is a complete replica by GTO Engineering.

    NOTHING to do with 3673SA.

Herb did once own the REAL 3673SA. Many moons ago.

This is a fake/reproduction chassis tag.
Do you have a photo showing the actual stamping of the chassis number on the frame?

OK then. How about a photo showing the engine number (stamping on raised boss)?

Herb lives around the corner from me and I spoke with him at the Sunoco gas station last summer (2013) as he was filling-up this car. Car was "just back from England getting restored", man is it beautiful in the flesh. I actually HEARD the car first and followed Herb to the Sunoco station where our conversation then took place.

So then...Is this a "re-created"/"re-bodied" etc. etc. car and NOT a real 250 SWB?

    Thanks,

    Jack

    Again I have to disappoint.
Usually I shoot any and all numbers. Either I slipped up or they weren't there.

Is even the real one an SWB?
As I understand its a GTO prototype built on an SA chassis.

Any photo of the real 3673SA today? Does it have the DK GTO body ?

Does anyone know what happened to the original 4 litre tipo 163 engine and 4 speed gearbox from 3765LM?

It's not the 4 litre original engine. I believe the owner found a tipo 163 cylinder block and a 4 litre engine was built from that. I don't know where the heads, crank, sump and the other internals came from.

This is correct. PPP sourced the block and the motor was built up from there. I don't know/never asked the source of the parts for that engine.
