For Sale Ferrari 348/355 schedoni 5 piece luggage set

How do you know these were from 348/355? Interested but want to confirm they are for that car

 

This is a beautiful and complete five piece set. I have the same but it’s the three piece for my Spider.
Fairly priced and what looks like to be in exceptional condition.

This set was made for the 348 as it has no stamping on the outside below the clasp. It also fit all versions of the 355 except for the two piece vanity and shoe box set that clip together will not fit behind the seats of the Spider variant. The official 355 set had the 355 script embossed below the clasp on the hard cases. The sets (3 or 5 piece) were available as factory options when purchasing a new 348/355 or, for a few years after, as an option in the accessories catalog.
These sets are cherished accessories and complete the ownership experience for many. Sets in black (Nero) are quite rare.

Just an FYI to anyone interested.
The interior of the luggage is not real leather and it cracks, peels and flakes with age as some of the photos above show a little bit so you will have to have these refurbished if you plan to use them at all but if your just buying to have them for display then it wont matter.
I have a set and experienced this first hand and ultimately took my set to a luggage specialist in Beverly Hills to have the interior redone/refurbished and that is where I found out that the inside is not real leather and why it flakes like it does with age.
This is not meant to disparage the seller as its a really nice set, simply a heads up from someone who has a set and been down this road as you will need to spend more to make them usable.
