If it used to grip and now it slips it is time for a new one (the bad news). It's not really a difficult job and doesn't require much disassembly but does require the fabrication or purchase of a couple of special tools (those pesky ring nuts that Ferrari uses and a pilot tool to line up the multi-disc assembly). If you're near Minnesota I could do it for you.

As far as pedal pressure, it's one of the prices you pay for driving the "F" word. Just like not having enough room for both feet if your shoes are bigger than a 7.

The pedal gets heavy when the clutch is worn out, there is no adjustment. When I put a new disk in mine I couldn't believe how light it was after.

It depends. FerrariFixer says that 348 clutches are shipped from the factory when new with clutch pack shims. Presuming no undue wear or damage to the clutch/pressure plate/fingers/flywheel/bearings/seals during the average duty cycle, then 348 clutch life can later be extended after normal usage by simply removing these (or using shorter) clutch pack shims.

If the clutch is too worn or if you've got a fluid leak inside, then the above adjustment is not a possibility.

It is a hydraulic clutch, so it cannot be adjusted. ;)
Only small pedal adjustments can be made as No Doubt mentioned. But that wont help you with this problem. :)

    Yeah.............you can toughen up. :p:p

the nature of a diaphragm clutch is that it gets heavier as it wear out... a new one can feel significantly lighter than a worn one....

plus you may have some other source of friction in the mechanism somewhere...

Fitting a very slightly smaller diameter (maybe 1 mm smaller?) master cylinder would help.. a 348 overthrows itself anyway... I haven't sourced one, but it would be worth the effort to find one.
