Ferrari 348 light stalk

Does anyone know how to re-wire the Mondial light stalk to work with the 348. It seems there is one extra wire (blue+yellow) coming from the Mondial stalk that has no partner at the connector under the dash. The bottom of the Mondial stalk has the blue+yellow wire inserting next to a green (pigtailed to the green from the passing flasher connection), which is absent on the 348s. The difference is slight, but when you switch to high-beams the light motors take the popped up headlights down (though the high beams are still on). About to give up and live without the high beams. Any help would be great!
