Well, it has wheels that are supposedly worth "$10,000 all day" that are getting banned from track days left & right. Also has tires that are unsafe for use at Indy. It is listed as a 360 with automatic trans.

I'd probably steer clear unless that reserve gets met REALLY cheap. Plus the "gentleman" from Las Vegas that is mentioned might have a lien for that upaid tax money.

Those same wheels for a TR only cost 4k two years ago.
I seem to recall an Fchatter mentioning a 59 Caddie project a while ago too.....................................Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

It's missing the front Ferrari grill (should be black) and prancing horse.
The engine is still crooked (i.e. frame not straight).
It has no license plate (typically an indication that the owner hasn't paid state sales tax, something that *you* can be held liable for as the new buyer).
The carpet is shot (may be covering up rust).
Scuderia shields are in the wrong location.
    Front bumper isn't attached properly.

Basic rule of thumb: never buy a car with a "story."

    I don't get it.
Look at the pic of the engine...
To my knowledge this is the 300 hp and not the newer 320 !
The pattern in the heads goes to the end, and with the newer engines it stops half way ? Newer engines started late 93.

    Opinions please...

Thanks a good piece of info Henkie, I didn’t know about being able to tell a new engine from an old one by the pattern on the heads! Ill be using that info when I look at cars, Thanks.

I would not touch. The history sounds all screwed. The interior looks a mess and the front end grill is missing and painted all wrong. Crap condition...
