Seriously though lads, getting on for a year to perform the "Ferrari 348 tb cambelt service" - what on earth have y'all being doing over that time?

I jest of course! :D Well done, superb thread and a great source of reference for future owners and would-be "project masters". Delighted she's back on the road. Thanks for entertaining us for so long!

    What's the next project?

    Hello !!
Just a small update on this wonderful 348 tb:

The owner decided to pain the lower part of the car in black since it´s a 1990 car .

Here is a photo of the car :

It is very rewarding to know that we've been helpful to someone and that we can encourage others to work on their cars and treat them properly. That makes my day! Thanks for the kind words!!

I just joined FC and this is the first thread I read. took me 3 hours to read it all, but was well worth seeing the professional rebuild job on the 348. Fantastic! So much information contained in one thread. I do not yet have a Ferrari, but will have one soon. Have shied away from the 348, TR and others that require engine out service for belt change, but after this thread may reconsider! Looking hard at 456GT or 308/328. Anyway, congratulations on one of the best informational threads I have ever read on ANY forum. Still would like to know about those head gaskets though...... was the "fix" ever found?

    Thank you!! :D :D
I guess Dave Helms has found a fix for that problem.

We installed the second set of gaskets and didn´t have problems with them until now...
