That looks exactly like the tool it that came in my 355. My 348 one looks different. It's short and doesn't hold the tire sealant in it. Did this one come in late 348s and 355s?

Brian, I have serial number 99349, a late production 1995 US spec 348 Spider and this is the exact tool kit that mine came with.

Correct, starting in at least mid-1992 production dates, 348s got this tall version toolkit.

"Came with" as in you bought your car new i.e. first owner?

I ask because the parts manual doesn't show a tool kit with the spark plug sockets for the F355. Also, it sounds like you should switch tools kits between your two cars. ;)

So the only difference betwen the two toolkit (348 and 355) are the belt; in the 348 only one belt, in the 355 2 belts. This is the version with only one belt right for 348; if you need a toolkit for 355 it is possible change only the belts (aboult €50) and it is OK.

No spark plug tools in the F355 kit.

Is that because Ferrari didn't think F355 owners would be capable of changing a spark plug? ;)

Keep in mind that the tire inflation canister is flammable butane and cannot be shipped via aircraft. I’d hate to see someone’s tool kit get held up, confiscated, or a fire start on board an aircraft due to an undelcared flammable
    liquid.

    These things but be properly
shipped by a hazardous materials packer, etc.
