    I was going through my archives and found the “Styling Analysis” I did for Sports Car International back in 1989 when the Ferrari 348GTB was new. I don’t remember what issue. I still have the original artwork. I thought the 348 enthusiasts out there would appreciate it!

    Neat. Disagree re: square lights and the black lowers, personally.

    Round lights without a completely restyled rear end (ex. 355) would have looked awful: see 512M

    I did this in 1989. Wayyy before 355! You have to put it in context with the period. I still think the 348 is a well done intriguing design that had lots of originality and great Pininfarina taste that still stands the test of time and on its own. I would be proud to own a great example!

    I know, I know… I was still in 8th grade. ;) I’m just saying with the benefit of hindsight we now know round tail lights wouldn’t have been an easy “fix”.
