My '03 360 threw a fault code indicating my car's "Bank 2 Sensor 1" Cat Temp Sensor has a low reading. I presume Sensor "1" is pre-Cat and Sensor "2" is located on the Cat. However, does anyone have definitive evidence (or knowledge) of which side of the car is "Bank 1"? I've seen several older posts that contradict. It would be great to have a document/illustration that confirms the locations.

I couldn't find any reference to banks 1 & 2 in the WSM or wiring diagrams, but on Ferrari V8's, bank 1 is always the RH bank (as viewed from the rear of the car). Bank 1 has cylinders 1~4. Bank 2 is always the LH bank (cylinders 5~8).

Cylinder numbering on the 360 and most modern Ferraris is in a U shape (starting from the front RH side of the engine).

    8 __ 1
    7 __ 2
    6 __ 3
    5 __ 4

All other variations are typos ;)
