I was serving my brakes and removed the calipers and discs.

I started the car cold and the car was in neutral. Everything good until a few minutes later, the rear hub began to rotates.

Can somebody tell me why and what's the mechanism behind this? The clutch touches the flywheel even if the car is in neutral? Even that's the case, no gear was engages, was't it?

Or is there some problem with my car?

Not to worry, the clutch is engaged while in neutral as if you were driving down the road. Think of it as if the clutch peddle out if it were a three peddle car. Because of the clutch being engaged, “peddle out”, the input shaft of the transmission is turning with the engine. The mechanical parts are turning because the viscous gear oil is dragging the non-engaged parts and rotating the whole gear-train. Think of it as a fluid coupling.
