Figured I would do a write up of everything I learned that made this a pretty easy install compared to what I expected when I read other discussions on the topic.

I HIGHLY recommend removing the rear wheels and the fender liners. Getting to the top manifold bolts was super easy using this method which I know a lot of people struggled with using all type of adapters and extensions ect when they don’t remove them. it’s pretty easy and a good opportunity to clean and detail everything. You get a clear shot to all 8 top bolts and they can all be removed with a 13mm offset box wrench. 7 of the lower bolts are all easily accessible. The only one that is a pain to reach is driver side forward since it is behind the AC compressor. Just remove the AC compressor. It’s really easy and when it’s off you have clear access to the last header bolt.

To remove the AC compressor you will losen The belt. There’s two bolts to do this. The 12mm nut on the tensioner pulley and the bolt underneath (pictured below) to actually adjust the tension. Once the belt is off there’s 3 6mm Allen’s that hold in the compressor and 1 nut. Make sure to remove the electric connector before removing the ac compressor. Have something to place the AC compressor on ready it’s heavy when you’re on your back.

You’ll want to remove the o2 sensors and the air injectors from the manifold to easily get them out of the car. I used a 02 sensor wrench from Amazon that made it easy and a 30mm wrench to remove the air injector hose nut.
The driver side manifold I removed from the wheel well. The passenger side easily fell out of the bottom. When I reinstalled the new manifold I found identical exhaust nuts on Amazon but with a 12mm head instead of 13mm. (Linked below) This made it easier with my header wrap ect to get them on.

When you reinstall the AC compressor download the app easy tension. You’ll want to tension the belt to 156-164 hrtz. All you do is strum it a couple of times and the app will tell you. Once you get the right frequency tighten the 12mm on the pulley. The frequency will increase a little when you tighten that so keep that in mind.

Sorry for the lack of photos but I figured it’s still helpful Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Excellent write up! When I installed mine, I didn't remove the compressor. Would have saved time (and my knuckles).

Wrapped mine as well. Though I found an alternative I’ll use going forward. Just picked up Fabspeed cats (originally saved a few bucks with an “import” set, one failed) I had dropped off at Advanced Alloy Shields. They did an amazing job! If/when the header wrap needs replacing, I’ll get them done.

That looks like a great solution. What was the cost?

It was $1050 for the pair.

Is that including the cost of the cats? or is that just to wrap them?

Not mine, but definitely NOT with the cats included. I'm sure that's just for the wrap.

Thanks for posting this link on Facebook Ferrari forum responding to my question for ideas. This will definitely help with the last couple of nuts left for me to remove.
    Thanks,
    Americo.
