    I am selling my other set of lenses i bought , thinking i was going to break my original set while removing them . I bought them used and a little hazy but had a buddy of mine polish them up . I see one lens on ebay for $1000.00 but i will sell my set to a member here for $1000.00 + shipping .

    Any chance you could describe how you achieved it? Did you separate the lenses from the body?

    Yes , separated the lenses from the housings . Small prying tools , thin bladed exacto knife and some patience :D

    I'm surprised that worked, but thrilled for you. I tried to make mine in the oven to get the adhesive to release the lens. I had no luck, and ended up making a tool to snake in through the larger bulb opening. I think I'll give your way a go to see if it can finally pry my lenses off. Did you cut through the plastic of the lens, or was the blade just to cut through the adhesive?

    I only used the blade to cut through the adhesive . I used a screw driver to start prying it up , stuck a small wedge in the lifted area and then continued on around the light . I used no heat of any kind to do this .

    and don't worry.......if you break a lens , i know where you can find a good set ;)

    I am really tempted to give this another go next week. I'd need to have my shop pull out my headlights again, and maybe buy a backup lens set. I am very tempted to take you up on your lens offer.

    I will cover shipping , as long as you don't live in Iceland or Russia or anything that will cost me an arm and a leg........just to sweeten the pot a little more :D

    I originally paid $650.00 + shipping per lens , just so you have an idea of what i am offering .

    I can check but the guy that did the polishing also put them back together . He said he uses the same grey adhesive used by the automotive industry .
