    Does anyone know how the 360 top system actually works? I am trying to figure out if up vs down is just a matter of the pump motor polarity being reversed like it is in many cars. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

    Ok maybe someone can point me towards the spider top service manual. I have both the modena workshop manuals but can't seem to find the one for the spider top. There is no mention of the top in those manuals

    There is a very good description of the soft top system in the F430 spider WSM. I guess it is the same than the 360 one.
    It does not used pump motor polarity reversing. Instead, it uses double effects pistons commanded by bidirectional valves.
