    Has anyone changed out the factory alarm system? I am tired of mine, no range and I only have one remote. I saw this on You tube: Ferrari 360 Spider with Clifford Viper Intellistart Engine Remote. Any thoughts?

    There is a Euro 360 Spider here in San Antonio with the Clifford system. It will start with the remote if you leave it in neutral. FerrariSteve works on the car but we have not looked at the alarm in detail. It's kinda neat, I guess.

    As far as I can tell, the Clifford alarm system works in concert with the factory alarm system. And you have to hard wire in the factory remote to work the immobilizer to start the car. So you are adding another level complication if there is ever a problem. I'm not sure if the remote will open the front hood. But it is kinda neat.
