    Hello all, I am looking for a shop/mechanic who can work on the 360 Modena transmission in California (preferably Northern California/central coast.) I believe that my 1st gear synchro was damaged after the heat exchanger failed during the previous ownership. Other than that, the transmission now shifts much, much better thank you to the help of a fellow Fchatter. Before it had issues dropping out of gear into neutral in random gears. Now that problem, no longer exists thanks to help from Flash32. I am going to try a new gear oil for now but want to start planning on a repair at a shop during winter. Thank you in advance!

    Thank you for the info, however, ive troed calling them and visiting there site for more info but was unable to reach them or understand their site. The entire site was in a different language.

    You mentioned it was the 1st gear syncro - do you have trouble getting it into first from a stop (N) or on downshift from second? This is on a F1, correct?

    Yes this is an F1 system, it will usually go into 1st from N on a stop, but on a rare occasion will skip 1st gear from N and go straight to 2nd. I know I also need to adjust PIS, (currently at 5.6) but I am working on that separately as my scan tool is having trouble making that adjustment. It will go into 1st from 2nd on downshifts however, this is usually accompanied by a a "crunch" noise. Noise only happens from 2nd to 1st shifts.

    Might have gone out of business. I would maybe send them an email? The site is a budget word press or something similar. The funny words you see are placeholders for actual text. Basically means they started making their site but they never finished it. Not sure if that's indicative of their work :D

    Google maps says that's a motorcycle shop now and there's zero about them if you search so not promising.

    It's a pity Hill Engineering UK aren't making synchros for later model cars

    They are open to suggestions, but the gestation period takes some time and I guess they would need a semi decent sample

    Hopefully there is another option if Synchros aren't available, outside of replacing the transmission altogether.

    Forget about the broken website. Call Carl (1-209-810-6501). He will help. If he doesn't reply, I will call him. He recently injured his foot and has been out of commission. He is back in the shop now and is currently working on Ferrari transmissions as I write this.

    I had ALL my synchros + gears changed OEM new from Ferrari some I heard from AV Engineering was the last made from Ferrari and not possible to make them anymore. Even the coil cooler something in the transmission got changed... I did not know 360 had this big issue with synchros + gears. My 360 is manual and have around 32k KM!!!
