    Hi-

We had the ECU upgraded when we purchased our 2001 Ferrari 360 and we were told this meant we could not use the battery cutoff switch. Does any one know if this is true? We need to be able to leave the car for a while without a trickle charge.

    Thanks!

I am not sure here, but I think that the ECU is ROM memory, which means that when it is flashed, it stays like this forever, with or without electric power... If it was RAM memory, I guess it would erase once you turn on/off power...

Of course you can use the battery cutoff switch. No risk for the ECUs even if they have been "upgraded".
