Ferrari and Chevrolet are two brands that couldn’t be further apart on the car spectrum. One is the ultimate European exotic, a car everybody knows about and wants. The other, a mass-market brand from one of the largest automakers in the world (with its fair share of supercars.) These two brands don’t often mate, but a Bowtie-wearing prancing horse certainly is a sight to behold.

From Luxury4Play, which may or may not be the most pretentious (and jealously-inspiring) website on the Internet come photographs by Jason Thorgalsen of a 1,000 horsepower Ferrari 360 GT powered by a supercharged Lingenfelter 427 Chevy engine.

It helps that these pictures of this dream garage are so damn sharp, but we don’t think there’s a photographer in the world that could have made these cars look ugly. The garage is certainly dominated by European automobiles, including five Porsches, a couple of Paganis, and four Ferraris 360’s. There’s not a single American automobile in there (which is strange for a Southern California dream garage) but there is a Chevy badge on one of the Ferrari 360’s.

As the story goes, the owner was on the track when the engine let go, and rather than replace it with another 400 horsepower 3.6 liter Ferrari V8 engine, he opted to throw in a Lingenfelter Performance 7.0 liter/427 cubic-inch Corvette Z06 motor, supercharged and tuned to make 1,000 horsepower. But the best part is getting to put a Chevy badge on a Ferrari. Either this guy has a sick sense of humor, or he is trying to piss off the Ferrari crowd. With a garage like that though, he can do pretty much whatever he wants. What Ferrari (or other European exotic) would you love to drop a Bowtie-badged engine into?

Awesome garage...not so awesome 360 Ferchebby.

I wonder what's in the Pagani? Perhaps a souped-up Dodge Hellcat motor?

No longer an authentic Ferrari. Once you remove the heart and transplant a new one from another species it should lose its original designation.

He sure is gonna miss those belt changes

There was a mechanic that used to help us with the variety of old fiats some buddies and me had in high school-he put some small block Chevy engine into a spider 2000. The car was very front heavy/biased but it was all motor in a straight line. I'm reasonably certain this would beat it though
