    Hello,

the 365/400/412 came with a factory fitted "closed" timing chain, however the WSM manual shows a chain with a master link.

I have purchased a closed chain and wanted to know if someone has fitted one before, it seems a bit tricky because of the timing chest and the two guide pulleys (#12).

Has someone done this before and can tell me the assembly sequence?

The camshaft gears (sprockets) will be removed.

Because the guide pulleys are in the timing chest, and the timing chest has to go in after the chain is mounted on the chain drive gear (#4), I think it will be very difficult to do...
