have you checked the obvious problems such as failed rad caps, blocked rad, faulty thermostat, rusty expansion tank and non-functional fans ? My 365 had most of these problems.

I have already checked these. I have the impression that even though the fans are working properly they are rather small. Do you know of anybody who's replaced them by bigger ones?

Where in the world are you based - is it particularly hot ?

The cooling system is usually adequate although in some very hot climates these cars were fitted with a larger cooling vent in the bonnet.

How long have you owned this car - has it run at the correct temperature before and has the problem recently started ? Ideally some history of your ownership time and experiences would help. One thing I was advised to check when I had cooling problems when I first got my 365 was that the fans were a) running b) running at the correct speed and c) that they were wired up correctly and spinning the right way to push air towards the rad and not pull hot air through it - one of mine had been replaced and was indeed running backwards.

It seems that you're a man of few words but in this instance the more information you provide the more likely it is that someone on the forum will be able to help.

it seems as though many (if not all) the 365 have the tendency to go hot ! miane is no exception... and I'm planning to check the thermostat, which I still believe it's key...
One thing I noticed on the Manual, which I didn't see before: on page 53, under "Climatic Control", it looks like the air intake thru the air boxes can change from summer to winter... "bot cleaners have two separate air intakes, one for cooler air admission in summer (lever placed in position C) and one for air heated by the axhaust manifold (lever placed in position D)"
has anyone noticed any difference ?
from the picture, it shoul change the tempreatur of air intake to the carb's (and I can't see why it say "climatic control")...
to be honest, I've checked and saw mine on position C... still my 365 gets quite hot in summer :) !
