    I think Ford in modern days re=used that scoop design where there's a little hollowed out concave area before the scoop, or maybe it was even Ferrari. The scoop on the green car 402 is just too high for a road car, looks like something on an American drag racing car, kind of hurts the overall look.

    Per the hood scoop on 0402AM -- we did not touch it when restoring her to be honest -- it was in very good condition as was generally the rest of the aluminum coachwork itself. (exception being the nose/grille area, later brake light additions and trim pieces) Given the tight clearance between the air intake on the engine and the hood scoop, the hood scoop could not have been smaller when originally built by Scaglietti.

    I babysitted 0402 AM from 3 April to 3 July 2007 and since the car had arrived without key I used a simple screwdriver to drive it.
