    Hi all

    Have you all seen this video of what is believed to be the 400 launch at the 1979 Paris Salon (Motor Show). Ferrari tended to launch most of their tipos at the Paris Salon. The video is on You Tube - www.youtube.com and just type in 'Ferrari 400' to find it.

    Does anyone know any more about this car or have any more videos they can post.

    I doubt that is the Paris auto show unveiling as the video is titled. Notice there isn't one Ferrari logo anywhere? That wouldn't happen.

    From what the speaker says, I clearly heard 'a 1979 Ferrari 400'.
    The registration refers to a Paris suburb. I don't want to sound posh but let's say this is not the wealthiest place. Would you imagine a showcar being unveiled in Manhattan with a Bronx plate ? More, showcars tend not to be registered.
    This is not the way a new model uses to be unveiled at the Paris event.
    It seems to be just a show. I agree with dstacy. Olivier.
