Nice find! It's number 63377. Does it belong to anyone here? It's not a far build from my 86 412 5-speed (63321).

Should be interesting to see what it goes for. What are folks' thoughts on the $50K-$60K estimate?

    Cheers!

The estimate seems low to me, but these don't sell very often so the auction company may have had difficulty with setting an accurate estimate.

The, Worldwide Auctioneers, Car last Sat. Sold I bin $29,000 and decided I did not need another project right now. It was a five speed with rear air. They were customer unfriendly so I passed.

That car sold for $33,000 with commissions, but I am pretty sure it was an auto. It is listed as a 400A. I can't see the pictures on their site now so I can't confirm. Price is inline for an auto.

Agreed, seems a bit low to me as well... About $15K to $20K too low. Will be interesting to see.

    Cheers!

Looks nice but is it CA legal? That's what I'm currently looking for.

Hi Terry, I was in the same boat up until a few months ago and I was specifically looking for a 400/412 5 speed CARB legal... If this is what you're looking for, patience is key as unfortunately there aren't a ton of 400/412 around, let alone 5 speeds. You'll likely pay a bit of a premium for both 5 speed and CARB legal, or just CARB legal... The cost of living in our beautiful CA!

This particular car doesn't seem to specify CARB legal stickers... But it doesn't mean it doesn't have them. Usually you'll find these either under hood or on the door jam. There's a few variants but most stickers from the era are metallic with embossed letters - LMK if you'd like to see a pic of what they look like for cross reference.

    Good luck in the search!

    Cheers!

    Hey Ruben:
Yes kindly show me a pic of the CARB sticker whenever you have an opportunity. Thanks!
