    AMAZING price Andrea!

Pity I don't have the know-how on setting up center lock wheels. Else I would have snapped up two sets.

Just for interest we have converted several 430 s and scuderia s to take the center hub bearing and fit these challenge wheels to them .
the only factor to overcome is the abs sensor ring ( the magnet count is defferant)
Its easy when you know how .

    The cars looks good .
Thats why we have many sets of these wheels .

    Andrea,

Just for information, I can indeed confirm that the Bosch ABS version used on the 430 Challenge is 100% compatible with all 360's including the Challenge Stradale. This means you don't have to do anything different such as swapping the ABS Sensors if doing a center lock conversion on a 360 or CS. Its only a problem on 430's and the Scuderia as you guys discovered ;)

It also means you gain 0.5" wider rims which helps to get more rubber on the road giving you 458 levels of tire footprint on the road meaning you can really lean on the grip harder.

Here's pics of my 360 running on original SKF Hub sensors with no ABS problems and no calibration issues. All working 100%

Its an amazing conversion for CS owners ;)

Of course people thinking about doing this on a 360 or CS will need all the parts of the center lock conversion too and they are quite a list and the costs soon add up.

You will need for example x4 rear center bells from the 430 Challenge ccm discs. You'll also need a huge torque wrench, the center hubs, the hub nuts & washers, the central nuts, the full monty. Its a big investment but it is really does make for one slick conversion ;)

Great price on the wheels, Andrea!! (I'm tempted to buy more spares......)

I'd never seen them on a Challenge Stradale, but they look fabulous!

Thanks for that info on the 360 cs . I had not done that conversion yet , the car does look good with those rims .
The 430 needed to have the abs sensor matched to the car .

    No problem.

Yes, I was very happy with the results.

The reason why the ABS sensor is different is that Ferrari used the later Bosch version of the ABS software which incorporates ESC (electronic stability control) maps switchable by the manetto on the steering wheel. On the F430 road cars the steering column contains a Bosch steering angle sensor and also yaw sensors measure direction of travel. On the 430 Challenge car they still utilized the older version of Bosch ABS but it was just re-programmed for motorsport (M4 s/w?) braking performance. This is the reason why the 430 Challenge SKF centre lock hubs are fitted with the old ring type sensors which need to be swapped if your not fitting them on a 360.

On the 430 road cars you must swap the ABS Ring sensors over since the magnetic ring sensors generate a different pulse between generations of Bosch ABS. The sensors (if removed) need to be carefully re-positioned to be 0.8-1.0 mm away from the mounting flange to work correctly otherwise they will generate an invalid signal and the ABS light will illuminate on the dash and a wheel sensor failure obd-ii code will be logged.

Just a thought, I am not sure yet if the SKF hubs are different fitment on the 458 Challenge (possibly not!) and if they physically fit then they *may* indeed be compatible with the 430 road car ABS wheel sensors so that's worth investigating too as it would save the job of swapping them over. It would just be a plug-in and play upgrade for F430 road car owners then...
