The 'Scud never really grabbed me. I drove a associates in Dubai awhile back, and while very fast, it just didn't make sense to me. A street car can only be practically so fast, even a F430 can be called to fast. I take my track car to the track, my street cars to the street...that's why I have different cars.

I guess if I lived in a place that would allow me to piss away that much petrol, and piss off my neighbors that much, I'd get something like the 'Scud (more likely a 996 GT3 RS, because I'm to poor for a 'Scud lol), but right now, I'd rather not have to fight with the ******** Daffodil (I know, I know) lovers around here (couldn't care much less about full prices my self).

That is interesting, I guess I haven't heard of a Ferrari dealer doing that before. Is it actively enforced once the car is purchased? I have a relative showing interest in an 430 Scud, and they have two homes. One with a Ferrari dealer nearby and another with no Ferrari dealers around for miles.

I believe dealership territory is enforced for the sale of new F cars so that one dealership is not poaching on potential buyers in another dealership's territory. Since it is advertised as never driven, it must fit that category. It's a dealership thing. Once they are willing to sell the car, there's nothing to enforce after the purchase. You can obviously live and drive where you want.

I'm sure the entire country is broken into regions, so no matter where you live you're in some dealer's region. Because Ferrari of Denver is in the middle of nowhere in exotic car dealer terms (the closest factory authorized dealer is 550 miles away), its region is probably larger than most.

Must be on MSO. "Used" cars can be sold anywhere, new ones only within regions though some dealers have overlapping regions.

Ferrari's (current) policy is that any car less than twelve months old can't be sold into another dealer's territory...strange, I know.
