    My first post so hope I did this correctly. Trying to purchase car noted above. Owner put new headers on and only two cats left on. Does anyone have any ideas if this will pass CA SMOG requirements. Car is coming from Texas. In Ca, who knows, right?

    430 headers fail. If it has the factory fix- and that fix includes only 2 cats -you are ok. But it probably has an aftermarket setup (aftermarket headers and two cats removed), so it won't pass. And if the ECU software has been changed to prevent CELs,then the ECU has to be returned to stock. Post your question in the 360/430 section for more help.

    Yes, it has aftermarket headers. I believe it won’t pass Ca. Smog unless I put original headers back. It was a nice thought. Thanks for sharing your input.
