You mean, like the 80,000 miles, or what? All 95s were 6 speeds, so nothing special about 95s with three pedals, either. For all 456 GTs and GTAs, only 402 out of 1936 (20.8%) were automatics. The 456Ms were pretty much an even split (668 M GT, 660 M GTA).
Mostly commenting that it seems like a fair or dare I say "good" price in today's over inflated asking price "market".
Never can tell what you are getting without a really good PPI. If she needs valve guides, shocks rebuilding and self-leveler repair, motor mounts, injector cleaning, belts and valve clearance adjustment, new spark plug wires, etc could turn out not to be such a good deal.
Add the window regulators, have look at how damaged the seals are above the window Sorry, black wheels ring alarm bells to me indicating a little about the owner.

The Mar 2017 invoice $ amount seems awfully "light" to me. But assuming full belt service and fluids changed, based on my single experience, I would plan for upgrade to 575M motor mounts if it hasn't been done. The radiator was removed and replaced--why was that done? Was the car running hot? I didn't notice any silicon hose upgrade (especially under the intake). Also, if the intake is off, I'd expect a worn throttle cable that can be upgraded to later part number. There are so many systems to consider at 80K miles. Without a PPI, I might put $15K - $20K on ice for "surprises" (unless I was a capable mechanic myself). I spent my full budget sorting out "my" '95 456GT, but no regrets, it's a blast to drive--and I drive it often. (I say "my" in quotes because I feel more like a caregiver for this classic, than an "owner").
Car sold for $39,616 in about 12 hours................. 5 bidders, and maybe 20-25 bids. Reserve was $37,500 and car went to 'Buy it NOW." More than $2,000 over reserve. "He who hesitates................."
Owner stated in emails that: a valve job had been done - at a cost of over $10,000 - within the past 3,000 miles. All hoses new. Cams degreed and seals. HILL tensioners NEW water pump ALL new belts NEW motor mounts, new 550 wheels, new Michelins. new fuel pumps (both) new shocks in back, BOTH accumulators NEW fuel doors, both sides. etc etc...............
BAT said : "Says the seller: No known driving issues, but has the typical window fit situation, and A/C that does not always blow cold. There are a few potential red flags here, but $40k for one of the last truly pretty V12 Ferrari GTs is tempting any way you look at it."
So who bought it? See if re-appears on dealer site next few months. btw...imo, seller should have included the "valve job done 3,000 miles ago" in the ad rather than the belt/oil 2,2k service. Sold quickly regardless......Jack

22,000 mi and 575 3-pc modular wheels. Really quite the deal even if there are a couple of non-trivial unidentified issues that need sorting. Seller must truly have been in distress. Sad for him, exceptionally good for the buyer. Another one to keep an eye out for reappearing at a dealer soon.
Eric- Those are not 575 modulars. If I had to guess, I would say they are the dreaded Chinese "Modular Wheels". A search will show up details on those.
i bought this 456 those are the 550 barchetta wheels on it not the 575s..... well see when it shows up if it was a deal or not.
True enough but I suspect you'll make out alright...even if she needs some love. 550 Barchetta wheels...got it....they look great on it. Again congrats.
Henry- You can get a set of 550 wheels from Chris at Exoticar for $1400 and sell the modulars for a profit. Or stick your HGTC wheels on her for a while. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
