Stolen car alert. An absolutely a killer steal for a low mileage final assembly 456M (the best ones) in a rare color (one of one made in 2003). Get em while you still can. Not too many. Damn. Congratulations.

On a related note to the above on the secondary air monitor. My car is at FastCars right now to get in front of any potential emissions issues (and pass) right now. I passed last time no problem zero monitors not reset. I was informed by FastCars that one monitor still open will pass me in CA since own a 2003 (anything post 2000 I was informed when I dropped it off can have one monitor not reset). Such a relief but we will see.

Saw this car this week in Indy. Part of a collection of Ferraris and other American stuff. Seemed like a nice example. Some stickys still on the door handles, rear ashtray was open and had some small chips/blemishes on the bumpers, but, leather, dash and exterior seals were absolutely pristine. Engine bay was also very spotless. Factory Shields too. Neat to feel what real ones are and the recess in the 456 hood. Yellow center caps. I thought the last year cars had the black/carbon ones?

I think a good price (considering premiums) for both parties.

As is being discussed in this thread, likely not the top of its potential if sold alone on other platforms, but still a good sale and a beautiful car.

Man, I like how you think ! That Aston is so much car for the price.

Your offer reminds me of the first Italiono Concourso I attended. I happened upon 3 young men who JUST split a tired looking 612 Scag “ 3 ways”. They seemed really cool (and must be) BUT I cannot think of a single worst thing they could have done to potentially damage their friendship.

I often wonder what became of that car and the owners. Imagine when those service/damage and maintenance bills start pouring in. All three guys likely vied over driving it so it would be due.

Oh hey it’s those fake modular “simulated multi-piece” wheels that were popular about 10 years ago. I still remember when a vendor/reseller for those wheels tried to dance around the issue by saying the name of the wheels themselves was “modulars”, lol!

The car from SwitchCars is interesting.

I love a car with a story, and they are doing a ton of maintenance to it but for $50K.... you're likely looking at some trouble moving it on if its going to be a "enjoy for a year or two then sell" proposition.

180k miles is not exactly 970k... Its only 33k miles per year!

Looks like a high mileage 1995 456 has popped up here somewhat over the years, but no one has actually laid a real claim to it...

Ferrari market is totally nuts and changes rapidly. I've been toying with the idea of selling my 355 & 456 because I always wanted a California (I know this will drive people crazy, especially the purists, but it's what I wanna do!)

Anyway, 5 years ago listed my 355 for sale and NOBODY came to see it and got zero action even at 65k asking. Everyone kept asking about my 456 which was not for sale, was getting unsolicited offers at 90k for it.

Couple of days ago I decided to put both cars up for sale. 355 sold within 12 hours at full asking price 78500$. (Clean 1995 spider in impeccable condition headers changed & new valves & guides but lots of aftermarket mods and it's been fully repainted and color-changed otherwise I could have probably got more for it) Got over 140 messages and 30 calls!!!

Meanwhile my clean original 456 (I only changed the wheels) is sitting there with zero interest and it seems my asking price of 80k is way overpriced?

I guess I will hold onto to it for a little while longer.....I love the car even if it's Automatic!

There's ZERO 456M for sale on Carguru. I know two people actively looking for clean 456M GT right now.

GTA are undesired.. Even low mileage cars sell in the 60s-70s.

It will be another 10-15 years before they break 100k.

Not trying to be negative…hell I own a MGTA AND the 456 is my favorite Ferrari 2+2….just brutally honest.

They are just a hard sell in 2025 as available buyers tend to opt for something else as everything short of a 400/412 is more spirted/sporty while a long list of newer Astons are better GTs.

I think you are spot-on! I love my GTA and very aware that it's much less desirable than the stick but I am amazed at how quick the market changes. 5 years ago everyone was all over my about it with many unsollicited offers. Now it's all changed. I guess I'll keep on driving/enjoying it for a while...
