    OK seems like an odd question what sort so switch operates the 456 and I would assume 550 575, mine works all good but it switches off the light when the boot is half closed, how?
    Ther is no obvious switch any where which make me think it's in works by a ball rolling away from the contact points...any one know the answer?

    I think I can answer my own question as my assumption was correct.
    I always thought there was come thing ratting in the boot around the latch, it was the contact for the light.. Simple and clever
