    So, a lighter car heavily modified to 1000hp wins in a drag race against a car with half it's power.
    How about put it against a Top Fuel?

    this side by side is total error, a big mistake, 458 stock vs 997GT2 1000hps mega blaster tuning!!!
    the next days will be the videos of 458 vs SLS, 458 vs Turbo PDK, 458 vs R8V10, 458 vs GT-R stock and GT-R tuned!!!

    not to echo what everyone already said....

    but wouldn't it have been a lot easier to find a stock gt2 to race the 458? or that new 600+ hp gt2 rs?

    then the end result would at least be interesting.

    I can't help but laugh when i watch this. Firstly its like comparing apples to oranges and secondly that Porsche is just laughably fast. Almost stupid. I honestly can't imagine giving that thing anything close to full throttle on a public road. Insane.

    Couldnt resist and had to post...I dont ever recall seeing a car pull away so quickly. As poster commented, that is silly fast. None of us will even be able to drive a CS at 9/10ths let alone a 458 or 9ffing fast 1 zillion HP car.
