Higher miles are not collectables. Two different buyers. Similar to a collector who pays double for a matte black La Ferrari verse red. Have you seen a Grigio Silverstone Opaco Speciale with red Alcantara interior? It's like saying a 1/1 Picasso should be the same price as a 1/1000. ))

Judging by Monterey the market is stronger than ever for collector cars. It only takes the right buyer. If you plan to drive it, this probably isn't the car. If you plan to show it and keep it in a garage then this might be the one. Whats $50k more for a car you will NEVER see again. lol

Congrats! Enjoy it. I love the car. If mine doesn't sell soon, it won't have 5,994 miles anymore! ))

Nice example, how do I get one of those Ferrari Florida license plates?

It’s not a Florida plate. It’s Special like the car ‍♂️

Let’s not forget the significant appreciation in these cars has happened over the last 12 months or so. This time last year you could still get a very low mile Speciale for under $400K. For $450K you could get a wrapper car with no miles. Not outrageous to think they might pull back some and that there may be some with miles for $500, or less.

It’s not outrageous to think they will go up from here. It’s not like there will be another NA V8 again. I’m not a fan of an engine that sounds like a vacuum. But that’s just me ‍♂️

Not a good car for comparison and not indicative of market. No Speciales are trading under $500k in the US. They are currently trading in the high 5s to low 6s and that has not changed in the last 4-5 months.

OP has a great Speciale here. Matte paint is love it or hate it. I'm in the former camp and besides being super rare, I think it's a wicked spec.

Definitely a good deal. But for a few dollars more they could have mine. My price says $599k but obviously no one will pay asking price. I’m surprised it’s still for sale. It’s not like you see a speciale every day. I know I haven’t seen one at super car Saturday and I’ve been going for two years. ‍♂️

Try to get it on BaT. I think you'll get all the money there.

It’s financed with Putnam lease. If you don’t know Putnam it’s an open end lease. Not a traditional lease. For some reason BAT doesn’t understand it’s no different than any other financed vehicle. They won’t allow it. If I pay it off I have to pay tax. Does anyone have a contact at BAT?

they don’t always. But it’s circumstantial, and takes some back and forth. My friends Gallardo was accepted and he still owed $88-90K on it to Putnam. BaT didn’t fight me about it (I was listing for him) but an open end lease may be different than what he had? (longer term, to a balloon at term end).

Mine is the same. I have a balloon at the end. I guess they know a Putnam lease isn’t a lease if you got or done. I tried 2 or 3 times. The registration is in my name. They just heard lease and didn’t want to understand I can pay it off at any time. I had another Ferrari before this one. It was very easy to pay it off. No different from any other bank. Maybe it depends on which team member is verifying the car. Put in a good word for me ‍♂️
I assume his name wasn’t Zac. I went as far as sending the owner of BAT a DM on Instagram. Now that I know it’s possible I won’t stop. I’ll resubmit it again unless you can give me an intro. ))

I guess they don’t like 1/1 Ferrari speciale. Either that or they are dumb. Almost everyone in the collector car scene knows Putnam lease. And obviously no one is leasing a collector car that you never drive. They said it can be financed. Well, Putnam is a finance company. It’s not a lease when you can pay it off at anytime without a penalty. Also there are many perks in using Putnam. Like not having a $600k car on your credit report. Anyway, the guys at BAT are idiots. Or at least Zac Beaty is.
