This thread is a very interesting social dynamic, It reminds me of one of the reasons I moved house. In the very small English village, everyone one of the 30 or so house owners had more, more of a view, more land, more fresh air, more interior or exterior space, more space between plots. But many, (including me) argued over petty issues. We all had more than average but argued much more than average. I wonder if it reflects the toughness or fight people hone in earlier years to try to get ahead? Wish we had a mod back then to keep us in check

Hmm, decide to look at an advertisement for a 458 Special and instead see a fight break out. Humans are a complicated animal.

 

would have been sold long ago if it was listed for a realistic price (not knocking sellers price i but thats usually the issue) , thats how it works unfortunately, once cars get "stale" on the market it becomes harder and harder to sell them... now the market is rapidly changing and will certainly be harder to get the same price it would have brought a few months ago..Alas the market is still higher than early 2021 not as high as it was early 2022 but overall its a 20% win either way if the owner had it pre sumer 21' .

The owner wanted $625k and now its not moving at the $550K but if asked a reasonable $550-$580K few months back from the start it would have sold..

 

406msrp 2300 miles Black silver Speciale - 600k+ would buy it but not so sure it won't be a much higher priced in a few years. Ferrari's in Matte is what holds this car back imo.

ended up selling at $522K , $100K less than he wanted at height of the market..again point is, if he would have asked $550-$560k a realistc number back then he would have gotten it quickly and not had to wait so long, put so much effort and end up with $30k less...

 

I guess he should have replied if someone offered 549k as it would have been a lot more than he ended up taking.

 

But He KnEw WhAt He HaD

 

Guess he did have some more wiggle room after all….

 

More pride than common sense. Ended up costing him 30k…lol
