Ferrari 458 Spider, Red VS White

Gold rims doesn't sound very appealing. Mine has Grigio rims and Nero interior. Nero is very robust but in a spider can run warmer for the occupants. Couio and beige would look great or a bicolor with Nero. Red is a fine interior color as well.

White looks great!

 

White looks awesome, but no, nothing captures the attention and imagination like red. Having said that, get the color you want, not the viewing public.

 

I have a red/black spider, but saw a white/tan one in Wynn Vegas last week. I have to say, my daughter and I thought the white looked better.

 

If every Ferrari in your area is red, a white might attract more attention.

I personally wouldn't go Rosso interior with gold wheels. Nero or Charcoal single colour if you want gold wheels. I think it will get too busy otherwise, especially with shields ect. The gold Speciale wheels on a white spider with Nero interior would look awesome. I'd go white any day over red, unless it's Fiorano or Fuoco, then it get's tricky. In terms of upkeep, I find white a very forgiving colour as long as it is clean. Red shows everything.

That being said, buy what you want. It's for you, not the next owner or anybody else. Any 458 Spider will attract attention, so don't worry, you'll get it in bucket loads.

 

White looks right on a 458. Go for it!

 

I've long been a fan of the classic red Ferrari look, but for whatever reason, I've personally never felt red is the best color on the 458. I'd go with the white.

 

For me, there really is only one color for a Ferrari - red all the way. But, that's me. If your plunking down the $$, YOU better love it. Nobody else matters.

 

The car looks hot in any color! I really like the yellow.... But I'm biased

I have a white spider and it gets a ton of attention, even more than red I believe since you don't see white ones as often!

The 458 is the first supercar l liked in white. On many others, white tends to look pimpish. In white, a 458 is stunning.

 

I completely agree where white looks stunning on a 458.

White helps define the lines that were designed into this car and is bright enough to carry the aggressive look of this mid engine car.

I believe that white carries as much attention as red... And the fact that it is different and appreciated because it is.

You can't go wrong with either of the two colors.

 

All 4 of my Fcars have been red.

white 458s are stunning. If you can vision driving a 458 and seeing white over the hood and fenders...go for it.

we have gotten tired of our white cars over time. Never get tired of rosso corsa.

If I were getting white it would be pearl white. Red or tan seats. Diamond polished silver rims with red brake calipers.

I agree if I was doing white Id go with their pearl white. Ive seen it in person and its really nice, and I'm not a white car fan. These new Ferraris do look good in white. I'd still go with rosso, but thats just me.

 

I must say, I would never get a Ferrari in white until I saw the 458 in white.

The coolest 458 Ive seen was white and would be my first choice of in range colors, ive seen a couple custom blues that were amazing.

 

Who really buys this car for the attention.

 

I like white but have always bought red in Ferrari. White, IMO is like blacked out wheel. Cool but likely trendy for the times, while Rosso is classic

 

Are you asking in all seriousness? I don't know if anybody buys it purely for the attention, but I think a lot of us don't mind it, and most are somewhat self conscious about how people look at us, when we drive these cars. It is definitely part of the fun and the whole ownership experience. You don't have to be an unpleasant arrogant gasbag just because you make yourself noticed and like attention.
