I'm looking to possibly purchase this vehicle wondering if anyone can provide some guidance on the options and whether they will add to the future value of the car? Also does not appear to have AFS system. Does this reduce the future resale value? The car comes with the original rims and new tires along with the bronze speciale wheels currently on the advertisement. Ceramic Rotor wear is 18%. All mileage checks out.

Thank you in advance for anyone's input.

I don’t think the options matter very much with that color combination. Can’t imagine there are many buyers for a white/brown car.

I would only go for it if you like the color combination and it’s reflected in the price.

Only suspension lifter is the missing option which will slightly impact resale but if that is not a deal breaker for you go for it. Don't worry about disks.

Thank you both for your replies. How much do you believe the white/brown reduces the current value and future value of the car?

My 2c, On white, a red interior is preferred by most but by the time you sell in say 2 years, there will be very few low mileage cars so you should get at least 60% to 70% if not more of your cost.

Hard to say. No discount could get me to buy a white/brown car. However, there are also color combos I love that others wouldn’t buy regardless of price. It’s all subjective.

Assuming the color combos is reflected in the price when you buy it, it shouldn’t matter. Just might take longer to sell.

If you like the car, you should go for it. Besides the front lift (which I don’t care for, but is a must for some), the car is loaded. I don’t know why you would ever want to re sell a 458 in the future anyway.

Can’t hurt to try to negotiate the price down a bit and at the very least get a 2 year warranty included.

I have a 2015 458 Spider and the specs on this car are very good. One of the options that I look for is the rear camera. Mine does not have it and it is worth every penny. This car has it so a big value add from my perspective. I do not have the lift kit either but have installed Scrape Guards. An inexpensive addition that you can add yourself with an hours work. Look underneath the front bumper cover and you can see exactly where to install them if you have any previous scrapes.

I dont think the options matter. That is if the lifter lowers the value of the car your purchase price will be lower. That is buy low sell low essentially. I believe the color combo would be harder to move. i personally like it though

You can probably get everything re-done in another color for under $25k.....if you love it buy it, then offer a $25k discount when selling.

I have no idea what your talking about? White Ferrari's have no reduced value! My current 458 is white, loaded. I looked esp for a white /red combo with carbon , race interior etc after seeing a beautiful blond woman exiting her white/red combo with race carbon fiber seats. This is my second white( 88 Testa Current 458), others were 2 Rosa ( a 360, a 246 Dino), 1 Diamond/Black combo(84 BBi), 1 Fly yellow(308).

    True for white/black and white/red. Not white/chocolate.

Didn't see the CHOCOLATE part. I once upon a time had 2 white with chocolate interior /Vettes in youth that I thought looked ok. A 70 & 73. But then again disliked both & switched to Porsche & Ferrari.

I’ve been drooling over this car for a month. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It’s an incredible build.

Personally, apart from the front bumper repaint that has painted the centre section where the Ferrari badge is from the normal black colour to a white colour, the colour combination (when you see it in the flesh) I believe will look stunning.
It is a very well optioned car. You should ask for the build spec to see whether all the carbon options are factory options or aftermarket as it seems they have all carbon option interior pieces as well as the carbon tread plate sills and even the B pillar (although it probably does not matter either way as they certainly lift the final look of the car).

Dude - JUST BUY IT!!! Don’t consider resale vlaue -> consider the number of smiles per gallon your car will give you. This one will match the whites of your teeth when smiling ear to ear driving the 458!!! Just sayin………...
