Hi everyone, I recently moved back to my home country - India and have started using my 2011 458 Italia more frequently — around 3 times a week now — after it sat mostly unused for the last 3 years. Just last month, I had a major service carried out by the official Ferrari dealership, which included the following: Replacement of both front shock absorbers New NVO board New fuel recirculation valve Brake fluid bleed Fresh engine oil However, since the service, the following issues have cropped up: Engine Warning Light – Engine Control System Failure Manettino Failure Warning – although the switch appears to function normally and changes driving modes on the screen as expected Persistent Airbag and AVH Warnings Grinding Noise from Front Right Wheel – likely brake pad-related The dealership claims these may be due to my Amaron battery, which is a local replacement and not the OEM Ferrari battery. That said, I’ve had the car on a CTEK trickle charger when not in use, and the charger indicates the battery is fully topped up. The Engine Control warning was present even before the service, and the dealer attributed it to the faulty fuel recirculation valve. But now, even with that part replaced, the warning has reappeared. The Manettino warning is a bit of a mystery — again, the physical switch seems to work perfectly. As for the Airbag warning, there was an airbag-related recall completed on this car a few years ago. The warning only came up recently, while the car was not being used much, so I’m wondering if that too could be battery-related. I've attached a photo of the fault code screen from the Ferrari diagnostic tool, in case it helps. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated — especially regarding the airbag and AVH warnings. Has anyone else seen similar issues caused by battery health? Thanks in advance for your help! How old is your Amazon battery? If it’s the same one that was in it for three years I’d replace it. Doesn’t have to be “Ferrari” which is just a relabeled Interstate I believe. I use an optima yellow top AGM.
