around 690cv but could also lead to a quiker power reducing in hot climate, when engine is getting hot I thougt 98 is also availabl in the Us
In the US gas stations describe the types of gasoline based on the Pump Octane Number (PON) or AKI (Anti-Knock Index). That number is the average between RON and MON: Research Octane Number (RON) , used in Europe and most of the world Motor Octane Number (MON) Multiply the foreign RON Octane rating by 0.95 and you will have the US AKI/PON equivalent. ( RON Octane Rating x 0.95 = AKI Octane Rating ) 98 RON Octane x 0.95 = 93.1 AKI/PON Octane -> US: 93 PUMP 100 RON Octane x 0.95 = 95 AKI/PON Octane -> US: 95 PUMP
That is incorrect. I think you are referring to the 458 Spider and also the 458 Speciale A. The 458 Spider was never referred to as A, or Aperta.
the same, I had confirmation my allocation and I will keep my 458 Speciale. The 488 Pista will never roar like her ...
Standard European RON. We should keep in mind that Ferrari always refer metric and european units. Thus horsepower is always in CV and not BHP and so forth.
That's incorrect. The Americans measure antiknock in AKI which is different to our RON. So 93 AKI is about 97.4 RON. No meaningful reduction in power.
Ha ha. No more manual, gated shift Ferraris ever again. ...and in 5 years, any manual shift anything for that matter....watch...
I don't think Eric Clapton or Nick Mason or even Jeff Bezos could convince Ferrari to make a manual version!
I don't know where you found that one, but it's amazing! Speaking of which, I was confirmed an allocation for the 488 Pista. That's my second Ferrari peanut... ;-)
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bfim2dlB_AD/?utm_source=ig_embed Will this be the LE which will be named "488 PXX"? I recall E.Milano showed a few earlier pics of the Pista before the official reveal and maybe they have already seen the PXX design. I was wondering where the air vents for the front wheels (which 458 Speciale have) have gone re Pista so they may have saved them for the true hardcore PXX.
