Nice day for a blast around Hyde Park then down Park Lane .I saw +/- 65 -70 mph on the digital ..limit is 30 MPH southbound Park Lane .They also have the reg number on the video ..not very smart. They obviously edited out the much higher speeds! And the trips down the bus lane LOL.
I agree with this. Numbers don’t ALWAYS tell the story. Power delivery and torque curves matter but a car that runs an 11 second quarter mile (my NSX) will turn your stomach. A car that runs a sub 10 second quarter mile (720S) makes you feel like you’re being crushed.
Best post all year. Celebrate your choice and enjoy it and be happy!! Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
If speed, whether in a straight line 0-60, or 1/4 mile sprint, is the priority, the 720s is unbeatable. Speed is an objective metric unencumberd by subjective factors. Personally, the manner in which the car reaches its destination is far more significant than the time it takes to get there. I love speed but it must be accompanied with driving dynamics that excite and thrill. For me, the 720S excells in the former but lacks in the latter.
The Pista has been clocked with nearly identical numbers to the 720. Both are ballistic, so other factors come into play when one needs to vote with his/her wallet.
Experts advice needed .. build stage 10R ... what does this mean ? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
10R means no changes to order, parts are being pulled to start production Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No idea, sorry. I only know that the car used in the test belongs to Andy Bruce. By the way, the GT2 is a "Manthey" edition, (whatever it is), or at least that's how OJW calls it on Instagram.
1) That GT2 is not stock. 2) In most tracks the Pista is considerably quicker: http://www.zeperfs.com/en/duel7218-6810.htm
Thanks for the reply. According to the owner, suspension and aero setups were changed, brakes upgraded and Cup2R installed.
The aventador was brand new with 200 miles so the driver didn’t push it- likely would have been a bit faster. 2rs as stated was on special tires. Not stock. If you take out those differences- 3 cars are likely very close to each other. Senna is on another level.
