Since this is a drawing thread I thought I would add one of mine. Let me know what you think.
Ok, this is still not fair... Obviously, the NNO needs to be DRAWN just like the rest of the picture... Let's see if any LESS attention is paid to the NNO after it's DRAWN next to Lukas' car... Nope.
Hey, Lukas, i hope you know i'm just having a little fun... i think your picture is awesome... i'm just your chops with the NNO... Even though the the sun is in the wrong place, here's your car in a more summery place... (much like the NNO...)
Black/Natrual Enzo's always steal the show Pozzi/Creme also do as well. I wonder how many actual Pozzi/Creme Enzo's where really produced.
Background is a big thing. A drawing just showing the car tends to loose it's appeal after a while. It isn't really saying anything. The background can be used to enforce certain features of the car. Right know I'm working on a 250 GTE with a very plain, straight, factory-like background, to emphasize the subtle curves of the car. And this background takes me a hell of a lot longer than the actual car..... I'll post it when it's done.
You know Lukas, I don't know if you really did that Enzo in a hurry, but it's the best drawing I have seen. In a few, straight lines, you capture the essence of the car, and the way you did the reflection on the hood is truly terrific.
thanks man...your drawings aint bad either...love them! hey that enzo i posted there is for one guy and im doing two more close ups of the enzo that he wanted.
GTE - Thanks for the PM! The GTE looks dead on!!! Very Very Nice... Darren Jaffery - Should look familar to you too (Darren now owns this car Can't wait to see the final product! and very very nice work! Rich
Hey, man, that's pretty awesome...! i like it... How big is the original...? Is it done in charcoal...? Do i see two sources of light...?
Here more of mine. Pics are rubbish again. Hope you like anyway. The originals are coloured crayon on A3 paper.
