Alessandro, many thanks!
The image is the best and the only one in colours I never seen!!!!!Many tanks! I apologize but I really means those areas (cyan color) on the sump as you may better see in the new posts. If you have any other image, like that you show us, of the 512 S..please post! You gave me another way to undestand 512 tubes! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Alessandro, Attached please find an image of the bottom sump. This will give you all the details you are looking for. A few questions for you: Are you trying to build a 1/12 scale model from photos only? Have you built other models previously? Best regards Image Unavailable, Please Login
What astonishing pic for one like me, becoming crazy for this car!!!! I really have no words to say tanks!!!!! Alessandro
Finally we arrived at the final lap! I got a copy of the book Sebring 12-hour race 1970 as mamo models told me and here is the mistery thing. It is really an air intake, not sure if there is a red cover on the corrugated tube! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear Gentlemen, many things about the °21 of Sebring 1970 are cleared, but not all! As you know the firsts 512 S had a big round hole in the front body to allow to take the spare tire. The round cover painted with carryed the race number. I'm almost sure that was present at Daytona but some of you know if there was still at Sebring?Or the new fiberglass bodyes was plain, without hole? That races was win or lost for seconds, and was ridicolous to change a wheel out of the box by the driver. So I suppose that the opening hole was not on the Sebring car, but anyone may confirm it? Thank you again,my 1:12 model is growing! Alessandro
Dear Sirs, anyone knows what is this big yellow object. It was present in the early 512 S but then was missed. May be a pump or a pressure box...what the Ferrari men use after this, and where they put it? Sorry for the long tread.....about this car! Alessandro Image Unavailable, Please Login
