Hey Jim, Your car is cool and all that but I bet you don't have Sergio's autograph on your Modulo like I have on mine Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks for posting I guess I missed that one. Very interesting seeing the design evolution. One of my favorites the BB, seems like yesterday racing across country with my bro Cozy in a 512 that was prepped by some of the men that worked for Chinetti. Little over 20 years now that Sr. passed. Is Pininfarina selling off it's treasures? Years ago I asked and received a big no. The only Pininfarina I have came out of Brunei that I procured. At least Glick won't hide it in a collection like I would. Hope to see it on the road in Westchester.
All that is there, Mr. G.?? I thought it was always displayed as a roller, even in that evocative video, you note it is always rolling downhill........

He also was at their side as the wolves from the banks came snarling at the door. Friends remember friends..... I suggest you use that info, if there is anything else you fancy... I saw a stack of original blueprints for my 308GTB at auction the other day, ammonia paper and fold marks. So, there is a leak in the balloon somewhere....... I didn't buy the blueprints as I am not starting from scratch.......my VINs are all attached, thank God.....
Enzo played Goodyear against Firestone CONSTANTLY, Fred Gamble wrote a great article about it, under a pen name, after retiring from Goodyear. I'm still on Goodyear to this day. I don't play games, with my life.... Recall the Firestone 721s, they came of the rim, like toilet paper off the roll. I have seen AJ Foyt upset with Goodyear a time or two, though. That's why they call it "racing"....
Mr. Granatelli's recent obit noted that the STP logo "of a time" came to adorn every motor head's school books, gym locker, and vehicle during his top runs at Indy....... If I recall, I even had one on my clay wheeled wood plank of a skate board.. I must have poured to lube into the dusty open ball wheel bearings... *WHOOSH* That was long before my first car, of any description....
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxHcURXGlFE]Ferrari 512 Modulo - back to the future - YouTube[/ame] I posted this a long time ago in another thread. For now, this is as close as it gets....
Interesting. Some of that footage looks like it's a roller, in others it looks like it's under it's own power. I always thought it was a static show car..but this vid appears to show otherwise. Thanks for posting.
The car is not under its own power in the video clip........I'm not sure exactly how they accomplished this, but it is very cool indeed to give it the illusion that it is.
Fantastic ! Congrats, Jim. And rendez vous at Villa d'Este...Now you know you should be careful with their damn pavement curbs when it's raining !
