The magic number, just for the US, is supposedly 39. So, worldwide, I think production will be closer to Bennett's number, though the total is rumored to be between 45 and 50.
I have a customer who is looking to sell his 599 Alonso, out of the 3 liveries it is the most decorated one. Let me know if someone has any interests. It looks like the car above! It is also a delivery mile car with less than 100 miles
Awesome, thank you! Is this yours, or is it at a local dealer? Sweet, thanks! It's a 2012, right? Or is it a 2011?
25 in the US is what I'm being told. Let me go through some emails but I'm pretty sure thats the number. Oh and just in being in the factory when these were on the line and also talking to many other dealers it seems like the one you will see the most is the full livery one in Rosso scuderia.
Heh. I started to get offended by the question, then I realized that there must be some history with it. So for the record: the 2012 Ferrari 599 Alonso 60F1 pictured above, plaque number 186707, belongs to me :-D
Indeed, these questions are asked to be able to track the history of your car - 20 years from now, it might make its new owner very happy For the same reason, would you be willing to tell by which dealer your car was delivered? You´re very likely the first owner, right? Thanks & ciao, Lars
Lars is correct, I'm only asking for posterity. Are you certain it's a 2012? So the VIN is ZFF60FCA5C0186707 and not ZFF60FCA7B0186707? I ask because I thought all of the Alonso Edition 599s were 2011 models. I know of one that was built in January, 2012, and it still has a 2011 model year VIN.
All Alonso's were built in 2012 and all have 2011 vins. 60 year anniversary doesn't work if it is 61 years
I asked this exact same question as it perplexed me when I pulled her off the truck Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hah. You are correct, ours has a 2011 VIN (as you surmised above). We bought it new from Ferrari of San Francisco in April 2012.
